Our Mission

At Fun Time Therapy, we believe that communication is the heart of connection, learning, and growth. Our practice was founded to support the speech and language needs of children in our community, helping them build confidence, develop relationships, and strengthen the skills that carry over into every area of life, including literacy and academics.

Through engaging, play-based sessions and evidence-based therapy techniques, we make learning fun while targeting meaningful goals. We value each child’s unique strengths and strive to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where progress feels exciting and achievable.

Our therapists are highly qualified, compassionate professionals who are dedicated not only to the children we serve but also to ongoing professional development, ensuring we bring the most effective tools and strategies into every session.

At Fun Time Therapy, we are committed to walking alongside families as partners, empowering children to reach their full potential in communication and beyond. Learn more about our team below.

Michelle Botti, M.A. CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist & Owner
Fun Time Therapy

Michelle Botti has been a speech-language pathologist for 15 years and is the proud owner of Fun Time Therapy. Her career has spanned early intervention, rehabilitation, public schools, and private practice—each experience fueling her passion for helping children and families thrive.

Michelle chose this profession after observing an SLP during her own training years. She had always dreamed of teaching, but seeing speech therapy in action revealed the perfect fit: a career that combined her love of working with children, her desire to help others, and her favorite pastime—talking!

Known for her creativity and energy, Michelle makes therapy engaging, fun, and full of new ideas. Her work style is relaxed, lively, and a little bit “crazy”—in the best way—because she believes learning should feel like an adventure.

Outside of work, Michelle’s world revolves around her daughter. Together, they love exploring new places, going on walks, and turning everyday moments into adventures. At home, Michelle is the self-proclaimed “activities coordinator,” often hosting friends and planning everything from slime-making to fort-building. Her house is always buzzing with kids and laughter. Still, her favorite part of the day is winding down—snuggled on the couch with a good book.

Gina Bisogna, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech Language Specialist & Owner
Fun Time Therapy Too

Gina has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2012, but her passion began years earlier at Rutgers University, where she worked with children with autism in 2008. That experience shaped her career path and showed her how every child has unique strengths and ways of connecting. Inspired by her own brother’s journey in speech therapy, Gina knew she wanted to dedicate her life to helping families experience the same joy and progress that hers did.

Over the years, Gina has gained extensive experience supporting children with autism and developmental differences. She has a special ability to read each child’s cues and uncover what motivates them to communicate and learn. Gina makes sessions adaptive and engaging, turning everyday routines, play, and special interests into meaningful opportunities for growth. Collaboration is at the heart of her work—she values working closely with parents, caregivers, and professionals to ensure children feel supported across all settings.

What she enjoys most is watching communication blossom—whether it’s a child speaking a new word, using a sign for the first time, or proudly expressing their needs. She knows that even small steps can make a big difference and celebrates each milestone alongside her clients and their families.

Outside the therapy room, Gina loves family time with her children, especially trips involving animals and farms. She also enjoys decorating, shopping, and unwinding with a binge-worthy series. Her mornings start with a good cup of coffee, and she finds joy in a perfectly crafted Aperol Spritz.

Gina’s journey into speech therapy has always been personal and heartfelt. Warm, adaptive, and collaborative, she brings both skill and heart to every session—creating a safe, fun, and meaningful space for children to grow.

Susan Dimeglio
Speech Language Pathologist

Susan Dimeglio has been a speech-language pathologist since 1984, inspired early on when she observed an SLP using sign language to help a young boy with autism communicate. From that moment, she knew her calling was to help others find their voice—through words, gestures, or any means that supports expression.

Over the years, Susan has developed expertise in working with children on the autism spectrum, creating purposeful and functional therapy programs tailored to each individual. She also has a special interest in oral-motor and feeding issues, helping children eat more safely and comfortably. Her approach is rooted in building communicative environments using a variety of tools—gestures, signs, PECS, AAC, and verbalizations—to ensure meaningful and effective interactions.

Her work style is best described as functional, practical, individualized, and always fun. Susan finds joy in every milestone, big or small, knowing the impact it makes on children, their families, and their communities.

Outside of her professional life, Susan loves learning Italian, traveling to Italy to immerse herself in the culture, and dancing whenever she gets the chance. Most importantly, she treasures time with her eight grandchildren. Coffee is her not-so-guilty pleasure—sometimes paired with a soft-serve ice cream.

Diana Salwen
Speech Language Pathologist

Diana Salwen, has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 40 years. She loves working with children—seeing their progress, sharing in their excitement when they succeed, hearing their stories about home, and simply playing with them. Diana has experience working with individuals with autism, using AAC devices, supporting language impairments, and providing oral motor therapy.

When Diana is not working, she enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren, who certainly keep her busy—so much fun! In her spare time, she also enjoys running outdoors, reading bestsellers, and traveling whenever she can—there’s so much to see! Diana also loves her coffee and listening to music or podcasts while exercising, even in the winter.

Diane truly believes this profession chose her. Helping people communicate has been incredibly rewarding, and she feels fortunate to continue doing the work she loves. Diana’s approach to therapy emphasizes play, so that even when children are working hard, therapy is always fun.
